To drive awareness of Olympian Laura Kenny’s partnership with delivery service Pod Food through PR.
What we did
We secured interview time with Laura during a series of office deliveries across London to competition winners. Despite limited time, we maximized the window of opportunity by setting up an hour's interviews with the Press Association, Fabulous (Sun on Sunday), Daily Telegraph & The Huffington Post.
All of the resulting content included information about Pod’s nutritional food offering, supported by a branded photo shoot of Laura in one of their London stores.
Coverage ran across all attending national publications, as well as a syndicate interview from the Press Association, which ran across various lifestyle online titles including Closer and OK! Magazine, as well as regional and cycling news pages.
Opportunities to see reached over 55,000,000 people, whilst the return on Pod’s investment was a whopping 25:1 demonstrating the quality and depth of our media relationships. Feedback from the client was extremely positive too: “We’re really impressed with the results of the activity. It was very much a job well done!”
