The Task

Re-affirm Winsor & Newton's status as the world’s finest art materials through a new visual language and tone of voice that could be used in all communications.

What we did

Working with world-renowned still-life photographer Timothy Hogan, we produced a series of stunning images featuring the beautifully made hero products from the Winsor & Newton super-premium range, and wrote thought-provoking ads that artists would quickly relate to.


This series of images are now being used globally and have set the tone for all Winsor & Newton’s brand communication, in all forms of media and at the point-of-sale.

The ads themselves have been awarded two International Communications Arts Awards for best use of photography in advertising.
